Organic Moskvich Tomato
$3.97
This old Russian heirloom variety is best known for being cold tolerant and extremely early, producing delicious fruit in as little as 60 days from transplant. Just because this tomato is so early doesn't mean it's lacking in flavor though. The small to medium sized fruits have a dense and rich flavor with a firm texture making the perfect for slicing.

Plant Preferences:
Tomatoes are a tender annual that grow well in warm climates and will not tolerate any frost. Plant in well draining soil and use a high in phosphorus fertilizer for larger and tastier harvest.
Moskvich is an indeterminate variety that performs best with pruning and trellising, and will bear fruit over an entire season.
When to Sow:
Start seeds indoors about 6-8 weeks before transplanting into the garden. Even the smallest amount of frost can kill tomato seedlings, so wait until the danger of frost has passed before planting. Use floating row covers on young transplants for extra warmth and protection, or wait until nighttime temperatures are no lower than 45 degrees to avoid frost damage.
Days to Maturity:
From Transplant: 60-65 days
Sowing Depth:
1/8"-1/4"
Plant Spacing:
Plant transplants about 1-2 feet apart if using trellises or stakes, or 2-3 feet apart if no supports are used.At Sweet Yards we want to give you the biggest bloom for your buck.
