This French heirloom pumpkin has a strikingly deep orange color and classic fairy tale pumpkin shape. Medium sized fruit are about 6 inches deep and 18 inches across, making them a perfect size and shape for fall decorations.

Plant Preferences:

Protect young plants from pests and give them an early start by covering with floating row covers. Make sure to grow only one plant or vine per seed sowing location. Increase or decrease plant spacing to increase or decrease pumpkin size.

When to Sow:

Sow seeds in the spring when soil temperatures have reached at least 70 degrees and there is no danger of frost.

Harvest:

Harvest when fruits have reached a ripe color and leaves have begun to die back. Cut the vine a few inches from the fruit and allow to cure indoors with good air circulation for about a week.
