Although not well known in the US, this easy to grow green is widely popular around the world. The compact 18 inch plants produce thick and succulent greens that are absolutely packet with nutrients. Purslane contains more good omega-3 fatty acids than any other plant source. It is also a great source of vitamins A, B, C, and E, magnesium, calcium, potassium, folate, lithium, iron and is 2.5% protein!
