Radish ‘Easter Egg Mix’ – Raphanus sativus
A beautiful variety of red, pink, purple, and white radishes. Round roots are crisp and stay mild even when left in the ground too long. A colorful spark in any salad.
SOW seeds outdoors after your last frost date about ½ inch deep and ¾ to 1 inch apart in rows 1 foot apart. Sow every 2 to 3 weeks for a continual harvest.
HARVEST entire plants by pulling on the stems when the root is round and slightly protruding through the surface. Ready to pick in just 30 days!
TIPS Radishes require consistent moisture to develop a crispy root, uneven watering will result in hallow or pithy roots. Radishes produce small edible white flowers that are a great spicy addition to salads. Protect young plants with floating row covers.
