Thyme can grow well in almost any environment. As a perennial herb, it will die off in the cold winter but new growth returns with warm weather.

Sow seeds indoors anytime, or 8 to 10 6 weeks before the last frost date if transplanting the seedling outside.

Harvest:

Harvest by cutting to within 2 inches of the base, using leaves, flowers, and tender stems for your flavoring needs. Be careful not to cut too much too soon.
