Organic Oregon Giant Snap Pea

$3.29

An abundance of large, sweet, and slightly plump snow peas on shorter than average vines that can be trellised or not. This variety has a slightly longer harvest window, staying a sweet even if left on the vine a little too long.

Plant Preferences:

Peas love cool weather and can even handle frosts. Don’t attempt to grow peas in the late spring of early summer as they won’t produce much of a crop.

When to Sow:

Sow seeds outdoors in the spring as soon as soil can be worked. Can be sown in the fall a well about 2 months before your first winter frost. Soak your seeds overnight before planting for better germination rates.

Harvest:

Harvest snow peas as soon as they reach the desired size of about 4 to 5 inches long. Don’t allow peas to overripen and pick them regularly in order to increase yield.

Days to Maturity:

65-70 days with full sun

Sowing Depth:

1/2" to 1"

Plant Spacing:

Space seeds/seedlings 2" apart
